The Fellowship of Christian Puppeteers (FCP) is a volunteer-led non-profit organization with a mission to equip Christians with creative tools to present the Gospel. To learn more about FCP, please visit our website.

Hands-On & Construction Classes allow you to learn new skills through hands-on experience as you create projects you can keep. These classes are one of the few we offer that require pre-registration and a materials fee. Please limit yourself to 3 hands-on or construction classes per individual to allow everyone an opportunity. You may add additional classes if there is capacity on-site.

Full Body People Puppet | Wednesday: 9:00 am - 12:30 pm [1 remaining]
You will use a pre-sewn kit to build your own full body moving mouth puppet with detachable legs using fabric, foam, hand sewing, and gluing. Kits will be beige or brown flesh tone fabric. Please bring clothes for your puppet (size 3-6 months). ** Limit 1 person per group please. You may request to waitlist a second participant.

Part prop, part puppet, the Scrunchy Mouth puppet is easy to make whether you are a child or adult! On a tight budget or need something quick, this is the answer to your problems. Come and get ideas on how to can make any puppet very simple that adds variety to your show. All supplies are provided by the instructor. Each participant will be able to choose 3 puppets to build (1 from fun foam, 1 from cardboard, and 1 from a object).

You will be making a cute dog puppet! The machine sewing is done in the kit and you will be doing hand sewing and using a hot glue gun to do the finishing touches. All supplies are provided by the instructor. ** Limit 1 person per group please. You may request to waitlist a second participant.

Turning Stuffed Animals into Puppets | Thursday: 3:00 - 5:00 pm [6 remaining]
We’ll walk through techniques you can use to turn stuffed animals into puppets. Please bring a medium-sized stuffed animal. One in the $10-15 range and with space for your arm works best. You can also purchase one at cost in the class. All tools will be provided. All supplies are provided by the instructor.

Learn to construct a sock puppet with a moving mouth plate. Whether a fun audience interactive presentation or for donations like an Operation Christmas Child box, it is appropriate for many uses! All supplies are provided by the instructor.

Participants will make a shadow puppet and practice using the puppet in scenes inspired by the Book of Daniel. Please bring a craft knife, small cutting board and needle nose pliers if possible.

Hands-On: Gospel Ballooning | Friday: 3:00 - 5:00 pm [7 remaining]
Come learn basic balloon twisting and then discover how to use simple balloon animals to share the Gospel with children during an event! We will then explore ways to take balloons and use them to add excitement to the Bible stories you tell and bring them to life! No previous experience is necessary. Pumps will be shared in class by the instructor. You will leave with a bag of quality balloons and lots of ideas to take home!

Quick Critters | Saturday: 11:00 am - 12:00 pm [6 remaining]
Come and learn to how to make quick animal puppets that will add charm and delight to your background and stage. We will typically create birds, butterflies and bees – but let's see what we can make! Please bring an X-Acto style knife, a small cutting board and needle nose pliers if possible. Instructor will provide the supplies.
